In the Marine Harvest Theatre Kitchen local chefs will demonstrate salmon dishes
Sample some delicious salmon from the Marine Harvest barbecue.
See our exhibitors marquee and learn about the Atlantic salmon and about the other creatures that live in the River Ness. Find out about Angling, have a go at fly-tying. Discover more about Scotland's number one food export.
There is also a Food and craft marquee where you can browse and buy local produce and crafts..
Once again there are lots of free family activities including:
Storytelling - Storytelling and art sessions for children. ‘The Creeping Toad’ is back by popular demand. Come and make some fishy artwork.
Invertebrate Trays – have a closer look at the mini beasts that live in the River Ness
Electro-fishing – join our experts and discover just exactly what is swimming about in the river.
Highland Council Rangers – play some fun games and learn about the life cycle of the Atlantic salmon
Casting Lessons – book a free lesson with our qualified instructors
There is also a free bouncy castle, free face painting and many other activities.
Dogs on leads are welcome. Toilets, included disabled access toilets are available. Food and refreshments are available. Parking at Bught Park can be challenging, there is only a limited amount of roadside parking so the best way to get here is the 5 minute walk from the town centre - with the added benefit of being a lovely way to see to the River Ness.
